Goldgenie New Years Resolutions – No. 2 – Health and Fitness Matters
After organisation (the first step), health and fitness are our biggest priorities this year. As the saying goes, healthy body healthy mind! Once we regain our dietary balance after falling into the grasps of temptation and overindulgence over the holidays by eating lots of fresh fruit and vegetables, drinking lots of water and cutting
out down the sugary carbs, we can turn out attention to fitness optimisation. And the only way to do that is through exercise…. There are no shortcuts in fitness but of course we’re incorporating those universal tips, such as choosing stairs over elevators and getting off at a stop too early into our everyday routines. And we’re cycling as much as possible. A good pair of gloves and scarf is enough to guard against the winter chill and cycling gets the oxygen pumping and kicks the metabolism into gear while getting you from A to B. Not to be biased but we don’t think there is any healthy mode of transport that can beat our 24K Gold British racing bike. The perfect fusion of beauty and function on wheels.
This is always a great time of year to take up a new sport or fitness class to inject some excitement into the otherwise bleak month of January. And it is more motivating to be a beginner at something new and see how quickly you make progress than to push through to a higher level of a sport or fitness regime you’ve become accustomed to. So if you’ve never tried taekwondo, ballroom dancing, yoga or rockclimbing, now might be the time…
We’re big fans of golf at Goldgenie. It is sociable, not too taxing and is as much as sport for the mind as it is for the body. Just don’t take the golf buggy!
Our 24K Gold Golf collection ensures you play a game of gold, even if your performance is under par.
Looking forward, we can’t wait to get our wrists armed with the forthcoming Apple iWatch, rumoured to be released soon this year… Of course we’ll be customising ours and with its integrated health and fitness features, we are bound to keep on track with our health and fitness intentions for the year ahead!
